Past Projects

In this section, we maintain a record of previously SRF-supported extramural research projects, many of which have formed the basis for currently-funded projects in SRF's intramural or extramural program. Each item on this page represents a step forward along the path to learning what is necessary to successfully treat and ultimately cure age-related disease. For example, our internal Mitochondrial Mutations project was initially based on work begun at Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris. The initial investigations at Arizona State University and our collaboration with Stanford University resulted in our previous intramural lysosome work and have led to ongoing extramural research at Rice University.
